The First Presbyterian Nursery School strives to provide developmentally appropriate programs for young children ages 3-5 in a Christian atmosphere. Classrooms are designed to foster growth of each child through activities that promote social cognitive physical and emotional development. Children have fun as they learn and play together. Socialization experiences help children develop a basic awareness of themselves as individuals and as members of a group. Teachers are aware of their role in helping each child build a positive self-concept and will provide a warm secure environment in which positive experiences can occur.
