Rockaway Artists Alliance Kidsmart Program at P.S.104

Begun in 1998 kidsmART is the only free arts-based after-school program located in Rockaway. The program was planned in response to the fact that there were not any local affordable arts programs for children in Rockaway. A group of artists educators mental health professionals and parents convened to develop the programs philosophy and curriculum and to set the programs goal to provide all children with a safe nurturing space to engage in creative endeavors. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
