Program Philosophy
The Little School House is committed to providing high quality care in a family-friendly environment. at the Little School House we believe in creating a community of learners where our children will grow as well as, our teachers and parents. Educating children, and working in partnership with families, combined with highly qualified teachers, will provide children with experiences that will help them grow as individuals and prepare them for the future.
The Little School House is a unique and multi faceted learning center that will offer children the opportunity to construct knowledge, develop creativity and self-expression, build healthy self-esteem, and engage in meaningful relationships with others outside of family life during episodes of play and learning. It is our belief, learning in a center that focuses on friendly practices and healthy living can only further enhance and improve the lives of our children, their families, and our teachers creating an experience that is unique and unlike any other program.

Educational Philosophy
It is the belief at the Little School House that children learn best through active interaction with their physical and social environment. The curriculum is focused on developing a rich developmentally appropriate program that uses the teachers and children as its inspiration and resource for creativity. Along with free choice, small group activities and teacher guided learning it is our goal to provide the building blocks for continued academic success. The classroom curriculum also promotes cultural competence and reinforces open-minded principles. The Georgia Early Learning Standards are used as a reference for developing and achieving curricular goals that are meaningful and appropriate. Children will leave the Little School House with the skills necessary to be highly successful in future school experiences.
