First School of First Baptist

Located at the corner of Clairemont and Commerce Street in downtown Decatur, the First School is an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church of Decatur, providing child development classes for children ages 3 months through Pre-K (4 years). Our goal at First Baptist Church is to provide your preschooler with a safe, quality education in a loving environment. We care about preschoolers and welcome your child to be part of First School at First Baptist Church of Decatur.

First School is licensed by Bright From The Start, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.

First School uses a thematic curriculum involving both group and individual experiences. Preschoolers learn through arts, crafts, story times, books, science, math, developmental games, computers, puzzles, blocks, manipulative toys, field trips (age 3 up), and outside play.
