Bright Beginners approach to child care arises from three fundamental concepts.
Respect for each child as an individual. Respect for parents’ needs and concerns. Respect for staff as professional and as individuals.The children enrolled at B.B.A participate in a developmentally appropriate individualized curriculum. Teachers understand the variety of learning styles and paces in children’s normal development. Their job is to respond to each child’s own style and pace and help them prepare for the future.
Much of the teacher’s planning revolves around the needs of the children, individually and as a group. Each day, there is both indoor and outdoor activity, small group and independent projects, and active and quiet play.
