YWCA Family Center

Our School Age Child Care program offers affordable dependable and high-quality child care during the school year to families in Gahanna New Albany and Westerville school districts. In 2008 we provided care for 2200 children.
In addition to providing families a link between home and school the School Age Child Care program helps children develop in meaningful ways including:

Problem-solving science and enrichment activitiesdeveloping critical thinking skills
Diversity awarenessfostering positive social interactions respect for others and emotional well-being
Arts crafts play and homeworkcultivating curiosity creativity large and fine motor skills and self-discipline
We strive to provide a safe fun and relaxed environment where children can learn and grow. Our staff is highly qualified and experienced in supervising and interacting with children including those with special needs. Whats more our flexible programming allows children a choice of interesting and age-appropriate activities every day.
