Center in Camden, NJ 08103
The Boys & Girls Club of Camden County provides a safe haven for the young people of Camden. The Marjorie & Lewis Katz Clubhouses at Parkside and East Camden are open weekdays after school and on Saturdays to provide a supervised, educational and social outlet for Club members during the time of day when children are most at risk to become involved in dangerous activities.
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. The Boys & Girls Club of Camden County provides an alternative to this. At the Clubhouse, young people are engaged in educational, social and recreational activities and they know that someone cares about them.
Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, self-worth and belonging. The Boys & Girls Club is truly a safe place where children come to learn and grow — all while having fun. It is truly The Positive Place For Kids.
