Police Athletic league LaPuerta Abierta Child Care Center

PAL Head Start program serves 463 children ages 3-5 and provides educational social services health mental health nutrition and parent involvement opportunities for the families of the children served. PAL Daycare programs serve an additional 390 children of working families annually. The day care programs serve children from 2 years old to 5 year old. Integrated with these services are Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK – Universal Prekindergarten) programs which serve four year olds. Head Start and Day Care programs are funded by the Agency for Child Development of the city of New York.
