Our traditional martial arts classes are offered primarily in the evenings. We do however have classes during the day on Tuesday/Thursday and offer several classes on Saturday. These classes are organized and structured by rank. This enables family members to train together and also allows the instructors to focus on material specific to that belt rank.

These classes are organized into five basic areas:

Basic blocking attacking and kicking techniques Forms (a set sequence of motions some of which are centuries old) Self Defense (what do I do if someone grabs me ?) Sparring (looks like fighting but it is truly a conversation in the language of Tang Soo Do) Breaking (board breaking - teaches all students Aim and Focus)

Master Johnson wants his students to have a consistent experience in class. He stresses this with his instructors so the students know exactly what is expected in class. For adult students the emphasis is on incremental change. As long as you are improving you are moving in the right direction. Each student is treated as an individual and comparisons are never made between students.

At Aim and Focus Karate we offer an introductory class at no charge. This class is taught by Master Johnson and gives the student an opportunity to meet our head instructor train in the do jang and experience what training is like at Aim and Focus Karate.
