At Salvation Army facilities across the country, the Army continues to support children with back-to-school and after-school programs geared towards supplying kids with what they need for the year and sustaining them for success.
Once all of the backpacks have been given out and the first day back to school jitters have subsided, the Army continues to offer support through a diverse number of after-school programs.
All three "R"s are covered at The Salvation Army of Brown County (Wisconsin)‘s after school program: reading, rithmetic and…recreation. In addition to homework help, kids get hot meals and plenty of exercise in the Corps Community Center of Green Bay’s gym.1
