My name is Marissa Caldarola and I am a Licensed Social Worker with a love for helping people in any way that I can. I have been in the caretaking field since I was a 16 years old, so I have approximately 15+ years experience.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Manhattan College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University of Long Beach. I have 7 years post graduate experience in the field, and for the past 7 years have been working in a Middle School and High School offering services to students and families in need. I support students and families through individual, group, and family counseling, while also helping to connect them to any needed resources and services within the community. I love what I do and am very passionate about advocating for and motivating our youth to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

I am born and raised in White Plains and am deeply connected to my community. I love where I live and am always looking for ways to give back. I would describe myself as a simple person who enjoys spending time with my dog, Leo, my family, and friends. Some of my hobbies include yoga, arts and crafts, being in nature and staying active, enjoying and appreciating different kinds of music, and cooking.

Some qualities that set me apart as a caretaker are my strong interpersonal skills, empathy, ability to understand and meet the needs of others, and communicate effectively to avoid misunderstandings. I am timely, reliable, flexible, and trustworthy. I do my very best to always foster a positive and supportive environment for both the children I look after and the families that I assist.

I am looking to offer my caretaking services in the afternoon after my primary job and/or on weekends. This makes me available most days from 3:30pm on and/or Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
