My name is Michelle, I have over 13 years of experience being a nanny I currently live in Union City, NJ so I am very familiar with most of the surrounding areas. A little bit of my history: I took a break the last couple of months as a nanny because I am a mom myself who decided to go back to school for Social work. I believe this adds even more to my experience. Before that, I worked in a school as a paraprofessional for special ed/needs classes. Since I am in school full-time I am only looking for part-time. My last family’s children outgrew me. I have experience working with newborns to 10-year-olds and can work with multiple children at a time. I have experience working with special needs kids as well. I love working with infants/kids and doing all kinds of activities with them to enhance their learning experiences. Such as creating or following a set schedule, reading, and playing games. I love helping them with tummy time, basic sign language, and motor skills. For outdoor activities, I can take them on walks or go to the park. I also prep and prepare meals, schedule play dates, take kids to/from school/classes, do light house cleaning pertaining to the children, etc. I just enjoy taking care of children and making your life a little easier.
