Hello! My name is Izzy Parshall. Currently I am employed with Kent Parks and Recreation as a before and after school care child provider.

I am attending Kent State University and am planning on majoring in Psychology. With my major, I plan on either becoming an adolescent clinical counselor or take a different route and work one-on-one with individuals who struggle with substance abuse. During my last two years of high school, I was apart of a Career Techinal Educational Program called the Teaching Professions. Over the course of those two years, I worked one-on-one with children ages 4-13 , gen-Ed as well as special education. I also worked along side educators, mostly school counselors.

I love being able to connect with kids as you can learn a lifetime of things from them. Throughout my time working as a child care provider, I have learned a lot about myself as well as my career of choice.

When Im not working with kids, I enjoy being in nature and taking on new adventures! I am very passionate about music as well as art. I would describe myself as passionate and open-minded individual.
