Hi, I’m Jarina. I’m new to the area and seeking my next caregiving opportunity with a wonderful family. I’m a kind, compassionate, and caring person born and raised in upstate New York. As the oldest of my siblings, caregiving has always been a part of my day-to-day. So, naturally, I turned to childcare as a profession at the age of 14, and I’ve never looked back.
My background caring for infants, toddlers, and youth started when I worked as the family and neighborhood babysitter. In college, I interned as a pre-school assistant. I upgraded to working with a city youth program as a Crisis Childcare Specialist. I worked many hours, day and night helping families in emergency situations get free, instant childcare.
I’ve been working in childcare and with people with disabilities for the last 10 years, and am CPR and First Aid trained. In my free time, I enjoy do-it-yourself crafts and volunteer work cleaning homes in my community for people who need some extra help. I’m looking forward to finding the next family, for a short time or a long time.
