Hi! Im Regina- originally from the cozy town of Kinderhook, NY, and now a seasoned New Yorker, having lived here for over a decade. My journey from a small town to the bustling city streets of NYC has been exciting, and along the way, I’ve embraced the role of a caring and resourceful babysitter, trusted by families in vibrant communities like Park Slope, The Upper East Side and Astoria.

I earned a bachelors degree in psychology from a NYC college, with additional minors in communications, biology, and New York City studies. These disciplines have not only broadened my perspective but also deepened my understanding of child development and communication, making my interactions with children both fun and educational. My approach is to create a nurturing environment where kids feel safe and valued while exploring their own interests.

My passion for childcare is complemented by a practical side: I completed a Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED course, and although the certification has expired, I’m more than willing to renew it. This commitment to safety and preparedness is something I take very seriously, ensuring peace of mind for the parents I work with.

Aside from my childcare experience, I enjoy crochet, abstract painting, and music, hobbies that I love to share with the children in my care, encouraging their creativity and self-expression. Im looking forward to meeting more wonderful families and contributing positively to their lives.
