Hi! My name is Amina and I am a third-year college student studying health sciences. Common Point Queens and the Boys and Girls Club because of my passion for nurturing and guiding others. I was a youth leader in these organizations, where my duties comprised engaging kids aged five to fourteen years with STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) as well as art and literature.

Furthermore, apart from working with the younger groups, I have also been providing care to elderly patients through the services of a homecare agency that I currently work for. It has made me more determined then ever before to be there for others in every way possible. Ultimately, I aim at dedicating my life to medical practice while continuing with my education.

As a babysitter and nanny, I combine creativity, empathy and professionalism that makes me different from other caregivers. I design an atmosphere where children are both stimulated and supported while feeling safe. In each child that I look after, it is not only about taking good care but also turning out to be ones role model who enhances curiosity by helping them grow.
