I have always loved connecting with kids! I have spent four summers working as a camp counselor for a variety of ages ranging from 5-12. I have significant experience with supervising multiple (up to about 10) children on my own, as well as leading running/tagging games and activities, supervising/playing in the pool, and managing conflict resolution. I have some experience working one on one with autistic and ADHD children, and having had very close autistic friends and family members, am comfortable with neurodivergence and eager to learn how I can best cater towards your child’s individual needs and strengths. I do not believe in “problem children”, only children who learn and express themselves differently and need to be understood! I always aim approach conflict and emotional difficulty with empathy, respect, and care.

I am experienced and knowledgable about food allergies and dietary restrictions. I have experience using an epipen upon allergy food ingestion. I prepared and competent in epipen usage and food allergy protocol.

I have a high school diploma, and am proficient in all general education subjects(math, science, english etc.) up to and including high school level. I am willing and able to help with homework as well as provide limited tutoring.

As for who I am as an individual, I am interested in many things, and I would love to teach and learn from your child about whatever their interests may be! I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Arts at Oberlin college, and I am intending to major in Physics or Biochemistry. I have been in choir for the majority of my life, and I love music of all genres! I love to sing and dance! I love connecting with people, regardless of age or background, and I believe that children have a lot more to teach than people give them credit for.
