I love working with children because it reminds me of how it feels to be around my younger siblings. I’ve always taken on a motherly role in their lives and remember caring for them in our younger years. Kids make me feel like I’m also a kid again, but I also get to care for, teach, and model things to the kids as well, which feels like a privilege. I don’t think there’s anything as rewarding as having a child look up to you or feel completely comfortable and secure with you. My experience includes babysitting for neighbors and family friends, working at kids’ summer camps as a counselor, and taking care and watching over family members (including infants) such as younger cousins and siblings. What could set me apart is my flexibility, love for bonding and caring for a child, and experience with a range of ages and personalities in children.
