Hi Everyone!! My name is Rachel Frejuste, and I am 22 years old. I am a Kean University college student studying Secondary Education with a content focus in English, and a minor in Special Education. I currently substitute in the Sayreville District for all grades (K-12) and as an Assistant Coach at Sayreville High School. Educating and working with children is more than a career; it is my lifetime passion. There is so much joy in seeing young minds light up with curiosity and confidence as they learn and grow.
My love for children extends beyond the classroom. I have spent the past five years deeply involved in childcare through various avenues. I have worked in a daycare, where I nurtured and guided children in their early stages of development. I also regularly babysat my neighbors’ and teachers’ children after school. These experiences have taught me invaluable skills in managing diverse needs and creating a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive.
My unwavering dedication and perseverance set me apart from others in childcare. I believe in fostering academic growth and emotional and social development in every child I interact with. I collaborate closely with parents, recognizing their crucial role in a child’s upbringing, and strive to maintain open communication to ensure consistency and mutual support in nurturing the child’s potential.
