Hi! I’m Aliyah, and I’m currently a college student majoring in filmmaking. As the middle child and only girl in my family I was often left taking care of my younger brother growing up as well as my younger cousins. Caregiving has just been a part of my day-to-day life so naturally, I found that I would most enjoy childcare as a profession while attending school. My background caring for children beyond personal family experience started about 2 years ago when I began working at a day camp, counseling preschoolers from ages 3 to 5, and to say the least, I found so much joy out of taking care of toddlers everyday and becoming a positive influence in their lives. I find that kids always bring the best out of me and I will always look to create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for a child/children I’m caring for.
