Hello! My name is Yvette, I am 29 years old with a Bachelors degree in Spanish. I have been accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows, where I will be teaching Spanish to grades 7-12 in a NYC public school beginning September 2024. In the meantime, I spend my weekday afternoons tutoring children grades 2-3 at Harlem Children’s Zone, and am currently looking for additional part-time opportunities to fill my schedule and am available weekdays before 2 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Other relevant experience includes: I have worked with a variety of age groups and needs, ranging from teaching underserved students at after school programs to providing skills coaching to people with disabilities. I also have experience teaching English and Math to immigrants working towards their GED.
