Theres something so incredibly rewarding about working with children, its that sense of enthusiasm and optimistic they have, it inspires me and its infectious. Ive been fortunate enough to work with children in different capacities for years now (childcare, mentorship, counseling) and they offer some of the most unique perspectives you will ever find. Im adept at the most essential elements of childcare when it comes to preparing snacks/meals, making sure the children are safe, picking up and making sure the house is clean, pick-up and drop off from camp and school, while also making things fun. I feel like what sets me apart is my ability to engage with them and create a world for them to explore with their imagination. I feel like getting on their level gives you so much because you can set the stage for them and allow them to be whoever they want. You can really see how amazingly smart and creative these kids are by getting on their level.
