Hi! My name is Teyla and I am currently a senior in college. During high school I was an assistant dance teacher at my local dance studio. I taught children ages 5-12 every week. I supervised them for the duration of class as well as teaching them dance and life skills. Some of my responsibilities included taking the children to the bathroom, bringing them to their parents after class, teaching them choreography/beginner dance skills as well as keeping them engaged and entertained in class activities. In middle school and high school I babysat my younger siblings/relatives and neighbor’s children in addition to teaching at the dance school. I cooked them dinner, kept them entertained, transported them to and from after school activities and constantly supervised them to ensure their safety in my care.
