I am the eldest daughter on my mother’s side and have grown up taking care of my younger siblings/cousins being that I have a very large family. I’ve been babysitting since my brothers were born and I continue to babysit my brothers and cousins when my family needs me. I have worked with other parents outside of my family and learned that all kids are different and unique and honestly just need someone to play with. I love how funny children are and I too like to do fun activities that are kid-like even at my age now. I am known as the “baby whisperer” in my family because for some reason babies fall asleep when I tell them my life stories despite them not being able to understand. Kids need not only stability and structure but they also just need to be kids. I didn’t have the privilege of living out my childhood to the fullest due to financial hardships so I wish to create the space and environment for other kids that I wish I had.
