Hi! I am Shehzil and I am a current graduate student at Columbia University. I come from a big family, which means I grew up babysitting my little cousins. Before starting grad school, I worked as a health educator at a high school clinic in which I worked one on one with teens to help them better understand their health. I love working with kids because I am so inspired by their intelligence, curiosity, and potential to grow. When I am interacting with children, I think it is important to be empathetic so that I can connect with them best, whether it is to build friendship or resolve a conflict. My favorite activities when I am spending time with children are arts and crafts, strolling through the park, and reading :)
