Hi there!
My name is Megan- born and raised in Seattle, l moved to NYC in the summer of 2021.
I have 5 years of paid nanny experience and 2 years of teaching in an elementary school.
I have spent 2 years teaching English in an elementary school in Madrid, Spain. It was an awesome experience where I taught classrooms from ages K-6, led lessons, tutored one-on-one, and much more.
I have nannied full-time (50 hours/week) for one 2 year old boy and 5 year old girl for a year from 2020-2021. I also nannied full time two awesome elementary school boys during the 2016 and 2017 summers, and have nannied part time (15 hr/ week ish) over various years during university.
Before that, I worked at an elementary summer camp, and am CPR certified and went through training to work in child care.
I have babysat for various families over the last 10 years around Seattle and the Eastside, and have experience with all ages!! I recently watched a boy frequently through his newborn & toddler ages.
I have no problem changing diapers, cooking meals, cleaning the house, going to sporting events, etc!!
I love, love, love spending times with kids and have a flexible schedule beyond my full time job – Im available on short notice for evenings and weekends and am happy to go anywhere in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Being outside, biking, cooking, and playing games are my favorite hang-outs with kids!
