Hi there! I have been a special education elementary school teacher in Brooklyn for the past 5 years.
I have a passion for education and greatly enjoy working with children and families. After I graduated from Dartmouth College, I joined Teach for America, where I gained a lot of valuable experience working with children in different contexts. My goal as a teacher is to foster strong relationships with students to build a lifetime love of learning. This couldn’t be done without partnerships with families, of course!
In my time outside of the classroom, I enjoy exploring the city, reading, and spending time with my friends. As a former Division I athlete, I also love to stay active and go for walks, runs, and do yoga.
