Hi Im Madi! Im an upbeat child care provider passionate about what I do. I grew up on Maui, which has played a large role in forming who I am today. I credit my love for nature, community, and my understanding of sustainability, largely to Maui. Funny enough, my career led me to New York, where I spent 7 amazing years (up until Covid) as a freelance dancer and part-time nanny. Since 2020, I lived in the Bay Area where I continued to dance professionally, teach, and nanny as well. That is, until 12 days ago! I just moved back to the city and am very excited to be here! Feels like a homecoming of sorts :)

I began care taking children at a fairly young age and have always thoroughly enjoyed getting to build relationships with the kids I’ve cared for. While the job comes with a fair share of responsibility, to me, I see spending time with kids who view the world through such a fresh and exciting lens as both a privilege and a learning opportunity for myself as much as them. Over the years, I have cared for children from ages 3 to 11. Expectations with each job have varied from helping with homework after school, to taking care of multiple kids day and night. I’d best be described as upbeat, engaging and enthusiastic. I’m generally the babysitter who’s out on the playground playing red light green light or building a fairy house.

Rate: $25/hour – $30/hour
