Hello, My name is Lorna and I will be relocating to New York after 3 years of working in a private pre-school in the Cayman Islands. I have loved working within a farm pre-school setting, that has been graded excellent by Ofsted for multiple years. I am a valued member of the team and I go above and beyond always putting the children first within my teaching practices. Within my time at the pre-school I have been voted most valuable to the children amongst my teaching peers and also hold a CASHE qualification in early childhood development and am Jolly Phonics qualified. In my personal life I love the arts, this is something I can incorporate into my passion for childcare; bring stories to life, dressing up and making up worlds that children can immerse themselves in. Im very active and not afraid to get messy with crafts, in-fact, Id go as far to say I encourage it. Within my time at the school, I have built strong relationships with parents, which has lead to babysitting work outside of school hours. I have babysat regularly over the past three years.
