Write a messageNeeding community volunteer hours in middle school I started working at a local nursery/day care near my home. I quickly realized I like working with kids because of how they see the world and are learning to navigate it. Children are little knowledge sponges, with developing personalities and ideals. I think there is so much to learn about yourself and how we treat others when working with children. After college I worked at a preschool for over a year before getting my current job and moving to NY. I was a substitute teacher working in classrooms with kids ranging from 6 month – 1 year, 2 year, and 3-5 years.
