My name is Grace! I am a rising senior at Auburn University! I am an aspiring fashion student living in New York this summer. I am a very outgoing, positive, energetic, patient, responsible, and organized person. I love surrounding myself with children and people who bring out the fun and silly yet also trustworthy and determined part of me! I have been babysitting/nannying children since the young age of 12. Starting at the age of 12, I nannied my next door neighbors children starting at the age of 1, 4, and 6, and until they turned 8, 11, and 13. In these 7 years, I was lucky enough to teach these kids valuable lessons as well as support them as they grew up. It is so fulfilling to return home and see the amazing kids that I nannied for that long. While I am in school, I am a mentor and volunteer for Project Uplift. Project Uplift is a nonprofit organization that provides underprivileged children with mentors to teach them valuable lessons and help be a good influence to them. This organization has brought me so much joy as I have gotten to know so many amazing children who are less fortunate than I. Through this organization I have served as a mentor to a 6 year old, now 7 year old, boy for the past year and a half. It is such an honor to be his big sister and I have learned more about myself and life in general through him than I could have ever imagined. I also am constantly babysitting for local families in the Auburn area. These children range from newborns to 7-8 years old. Overall, I am a very outgoing and trustworthy person. I understand how important childcare is and I strive to provide families with as much help as I can. With my personality, I believe that I can be the best help to the families while also being a responsible and caring leader to the children. I am looking forward to the possibility of meeting new families this summer and providing them with my assistance.
