My name is Aasha, I live on the Upper West Side. I am a nanny in search of a full time position and I am open to weekend days as well. Im eagerly looking to join another family as a full time live in or live out nanny with availability to also work on the weekends. During my most recent positions I worked 10/12 hours days as well as travel. I have a BS in Child Psychology, I can commit to four years and Im flexible to extend. I have a child led learning- Montessori approach and I encourage pretend play. I’m a lover of languages, music, the arts, and creativity! Im a warm and gentle person but definitely firm when need be, when it comes to discipline I like to maintain what the parents have already started. I personally follow gentle and respectful parenting techniques of discipline and communication. I also cook and clean for the entire family. I can speak Mandarin (C1), German (B2) and French (B1). I believe Im the perfect fit because Im proactive, well trained and very gentle. I have the professionalism to keep up with a busy household (and keep everything clean!) and the tenderness to help raise gentle, kind and intelligent children. I can also speak Spanish at the B2 level and Im currently learning Portuguese. I have eleven years of experience as a nanny with children ages 0-14 years. I also have experience working with children between the ages 18 months-2 when I was working in a Montessori school in Koln Germany and Amsterdam, Netherlands. I’ve mostly worked with multiple children (2+). Im an amazing cook and can get picky eaters to eat just about anything! I am comfortable with housekeeping (I was a housekeeper as a teenager), pick ups and drop offs and I can also teach your children foreign languages and musical instruments (viola, violin, cello) .
