I love being a sitterecause it allows me to support young children in educational settings, helping them get ready for school by using scripted stories and visual cues to understand social expectations. It’s a rewarding way to make a positive impact on children’s lives and contribute to their development! The experience i have is being a paid paraprofessional for a year, but ive been working with kids since the age of 12!, Being a sitter requires a mix of skills! You should be patient, responsible, and good at communicating with both kids and their parents. Being creative and able to come up with fun activities is a plus, too.
