Hello, I’m Arielle! I’m the oldest of four children who I have babysat since I was eight years old. I have paid experience as a camp counselor and art teacher at summer and winter sleep away camps where I looked after children aged eight through sixteen. In addition, I am a proficient cook: I won an episode of Chopped when I was twelve, worked in a caf in Paris, and for a catering company. I also speak French.

I love working with kids, sharing my interests with them, and learning about theirs. I love going on adventures, the outdoors, playing sports and board games. I encourage reading for at least 20 minutes a day, and I believe in keeping children engaged and away from screens as much as possible.

Safety is of the upmost importance to me. I am CPR Certified and a licensed driver. As well, I am very familiar with the LIRR, Metro North, subways, and buses. I am capable of ensuring a child’s physical and mental well being. As a sleep away camp counselor, I was trained to work with children’s feelings and help them gain emotional confidence while also gaining their trust in me as a caretaker.
