My name is Anna McGuire and I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where I studied Musical Theatre and Psychology. Although I went to OU, I am originally from Austin, TX where I grew up singing, acting, and dancing at school and eventually, to the professional level at the regional theatres in town.

I have eight years of experience in teaching and caregiving, with specialization in dance and musical theatre training. I’ve taught at ZACH Theatre in Austin, TX, Sooner Theatre and Classical Ballet Academy in Norman, OK. In New York, I am an instructor at Shuffles NYC teaching tap and a babysitter for families where I have provided school pickup, homework help, piano practice, stretching for gymnastics or dance, and all the lessons listed in my profile. I’m a level headed and fun teacher and person, providing the patience and care your child deserves. And I love cats and dogs, so I provide great care for furry friends, as well!
