Hi! I’m Hailey and I just started university at the Fashion Institute of Technology for Interior Design. Throughout middle school and high school I have done babysitting for various families and various ages. After graduating high school, I took a year off to become an Au Pair in Paris and during my time there I stayed with two different families: one with 3 children ages 10 months, 3, and 5, and the other with one 4-year-old boy. This experience gave me a very different outlook on childcare than my babysitting career had given me. I learned the large responsibilities that comes along with babysitting as well as how to multitask while simultaneously having fun! During my AuPair year, I was able to gain the trust and approval of my kids even though we barely spoke the same language. I love to do arts and crafts, sing songs, make music, cook, bake, or even make an obstacle course! Working with kids and their lack of limitations and understanding of practical thinking is inspiring for me as a lover of art and free expression.
