Hi! My name is Elizabeth but I prefer to be called Liz. I am 20 years old and I am going into my junior year of college at Iona University. I have been watching kids by myself since 2021. I was a camp counselor at my high school the summer after i graduated and I was with 11-13 year old boys for about 6 weeks. The summers of 2022 and 2023, I worked at a camp with 7 and 8 year olds. I have a 3 year old niece that I watch during the week over the summer after getting home from work as a camp counselor watching/playing with 7/8 year olds all day. It’s a fun way of getting to discover what kids like and see how it’s different from when I was their age. Working with children helps me remember what being a kid was like and I love being able to have an impact on our future generations to come.
