My name is Michelle and I am a second year college student at Bucknell University. Some fun facts about me are I am a biology major who dreams of becoming a physician, I’m Portuguese, and I have done competitive swimming for most of my life! I have been surrounded by lots of younger children specifically my little cousins who tend to bring out my inner child. I love playing and taking care of them. It has been a blessing to see them grow and develop!
My past experience as a babysitter of 3 children (ages 4, 7, and 12) has allowed me to become familiar with child care. My past experience as a church and hospital volunteer allowed me to gain patience, compassion, and understanding which are important to apply to child care. Lastly, my past experience as a swim instructor can allow me to provide my skills to any family who wishes to involved their children in the wonderful exercise. To summarize, I hope to have the opportunity to provide a safe, but also engaging environment!
