Hi! I’m Kai – a warm, playful, trustworthy former teacher and half marathoner. I believe in modeling patience, kindness, and compassionate listening, while providing gentle guidance to foster healthy growth. As an Auntie to eight kids under 12, I’m sweet and silly, but know how to support positive behavior and emotional development with just the right of firmness (without being scary!).

I love making everyday moments fun for kids and sharing my passions for plants, singing, and healthy cooking. With over 20 years of experience in teaching, nannying, and working with gifted youth, I bring a well-rounded perspective on child development. My degree in Cognitive Science deepens my understanding of how kids learn and grow, allowing me to tailor my care to meet each child’s needs.
