Bakiul I.

Hi, My name is Bakiul Islam but I also like to go by the nickname Tofu. I was born in Manhattan and lived in the city until I was 6 before my family bought a house and moved to Queens.

I am currently an undergraduate student studying Finance at Baruch College. I have about 1 year of professional experience within the financial industry due to summer internships at private companies. I also have around 3 years of experience in childcare.

I worked as a summer camp counselor for 1 year, volunteered at Ronald Mcdonalds Charity House NY for another year, and currently work as a part-time swimming instructor at Goldfish Swim School. I also worked as a resident assistant at FOUND study and lived in a private dorm next to Times Square for two semesters so I am very knowledgeable about living in the city.

I get along great with kids as I find it extremely simple to communicate and understand the wants and needs of children compared to adults. I prefer to be very active and know how to cook and clean. I am currently looking to make the most of my skills by looking for a simple gig for some pocket change as I continue my focus on the financial industry.
