I would be interested it talking to you more about caring for your precious kid(s)! I have been a full time nanny splitting my time between two families, however one of the family’s needs have changed leaving me with more free time! I am probably in a different situation in life than most of the people looking for nanny jobs. Most are young, starting out their lives and careers. I started out my adult years in day care and I have spent the past 21 years caring for my family, homeschooling my children and teaching online. My babies are grown, but I don’t want to be done shaping the lives of youngsters. Every parent knows that there is no-one quite like mom and dad, however, my desire is to provide love and care that comes as close as possible. I am an education major with a special passion for caring for children in the earliest stages of their development. Children are learning even before they are born, therefore their caregivers are teachers from the start. The first few years are so important as your child develops into an amazing, unique little person. My favorite quote is, “The Art of Teaching is the Art of Assisting Discovery”, by Mark Van Doren. I would thoroughly enjoy caring for your child(ren)! I may not be mom and dad, but my goal is always to be the next best thing. I see my role as a nanny as partnership with you, giving you the opportunity to be the best parent possible by being an extension of your love and care.
