Hi there! My name is Elena, and I am a senior at Vassar College. Ill soon be graduating with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Education!

I come from a whole family of educators, and working with kids is definitely a skill thats been passed down to me, but most importantly, something that I truly enjoy!

For the past 7 years I have tutored, mentored, and provided childcare for children ages 3-17. I have worked at a daycare center, a tutoring center, and for 3 years I worked at Vassar Colleges after school program for the local middle school. Currently, I now work at Vassars Exploring College program with some of my middle school students that graduated to high school.

I love children and they really love spending time with me. Some of my students and I have gotten so close that they affectionately call me their sister, haha! I am dedicated to all of my students and children that I care for, and I am someone who is conscientious, patient, and responsible. I make sure to the best of my ability that the children under my care are safe, having fun, and comfortable!

I am currently looking to work while I am on winter break. I am available until January 13th, so I hope that we can work together during that time. I look forward to meeting you!
