hello! i’m ryen (they/them). i am a babysitter and senior care companion with a background in dance, ceramics, and visual art. i come to this work with lots of experience providing one-on-one care, as well as years of teaching art classes and co-teaching at preschools in new york. i am a gentle and patient person and prioritize really listening and getting to know the individual i’m working with. i love facilitating art, play, and process-based learning and honor emergent curiosities. i also enjoy working through conflict with kids through conversation. i am currently training to be a doula as well as a somatic experiencing practitioner. please reach out if it seems like we’d work well together!
