Hi! My name is Shirley, I’m 29 years old. I have been a nanny and (certified Au Pair) in New York for 3 years now and with a lot of experience in child care, being a babysitter and nanny in my native country (Bolivia). Also with years of experience volunteering in child care centers from newborns to adolescents . In these years as a babysitter my responsibilities were basically getting the kids ready for the school in the mornings, dropping off, driving them or taking them anywhere needed, school, playdates, sports,tummy time for babies, religion classes, Montessori and respectful education, teaching spanish and english and any other after school activities.
Teacher assistant in a kindergarten for 1 year and one as the kindergarten psychologist. I used to take care of the children and help up other teachers if necessary at their classrooms, and learning about infant special needs.
CPR and first aid week course, I also know the use of an epipen if needed, I used to work in infant hospitals.
I love swimming, I know how to swim, biking, running and enjoy indoor activities as well like board games, technology and science!
I speak Spanish, English fluently and basic French.
I’ve 4 years of Psychology degree studies. And I’m currently enrolling to for a Master dregree in Children Rights in the future, for now certifications about Montessori training.
