I am Maryi Estefani Giraldo (Stefy). I have experience taking care of children as both a nanny, and in the context of being a teacher and tutor. I’m looking forward to helping you with your 5-12 year olds and can offer kindness, solid judgment, cooking, and also native-level Spanish language skills from a former teacher. I’m currently teaching Spanish and taking care of Nala 8 years old 6 hours per week on Park Slope. having free mornings and afternoons.

Primarily, I have taken care of the children during the night hours on weekends, doing activities together such as games, movie night, preparing snacks, and getting them ready for bed.

I am originally from Medellin, Colombia, and have a bachelor’s degree in history from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, the top public university. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in New York, but at the moment have part-to-full time availability for childcare depending on the schedule.

Before coming to the United States I was a high school history teacher. Other experiences with children include being a scout leader at Corporacin Scout de Antioquia, grupo Nusedechi 28 around three years, which entailed managing the activities and safety of 5-8 year olds in a variety of environments, including field trips and camping.
