Hi! My name is Kyla and I’m a recently graduated senior. I’ll be attending Emory University in the fall.

From June 2022 through late August 2022, I worked with children between kindergarten and the 8th grade for 25 hours weekly. I was responsible for walking them between classes, overseeing their classes, correcting their behavior through gentle methods, aiding their academic struggles, and acting as a role model. I truly felt that the kids and I built a great connection, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with them.

Alongside this, I’ve been tutoring students since April of 2021, or over 2 years now. Through both the Bay Dolphin Tutoring Center and my own private classes, I’ve learned how to help kids work through problems they don’t understand, and I have developed an incredible amount of patience.

Rate: $25/hour – $60/hour
