I am a 23-year-old college student in the field of Business. I am taking a year off from school to work on my personal skills and to obtain more life experience. A previous job involved me working with different adults, in a vocational independence program, who had disabilities ranging from Anxiety disorders to autism. I am CPR certified through this program. I can help with meals, snacks, afterschool activities and homework. I speak and write in English fluently and am a proficient French speaker. Growing up in a big family has made me not only equipped to work with children but an effective communicator as well. While in school I was nannying a toddler for 2 years. This experience gave me more insight into the needs and concerns that may arise while working with other families as well as the knowledge of how to properly address and handle these needs and concerns, should they arise.
