I have 4+ years of experience in home and childcare. Here are some of the positions I have worked: – Housekeeper: assisted an elderly woman with cooking and cleaning 4 days a week. – Swim Instructor/Lifeguard: taught large group swim lessons (up to 25 children at a time) and private swim lessons. Was a summer camp lifeguard from large groups of school-aged children. – After School Care Counselor: oversaw students and organized activities during an after school program held by the local YMCA. – Events Babysitter: worked as a babysitter for a local museum during their events, watched 6 to 10 children at a time – Tutor: worked as a volunteer tutor at a middle school teaching science and French. In college, I worked as an economics tutor for college-aged students. I hold a RedCross certificate for lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR. I love being a sitter because every day is a new adventure! Kids have such a bright imagination, and it is so valuable to me to get to see the world through their eyes. I love teaching swim lessons, as it allows me to make a positive impact and help kids grow! I am an active individual who loves to learn and explore, and I would love to work with a family that aligns with my personality! I am looking for summer work, and can begin in June on short notice.
