Hello! My name is Jesna, and I am 28 year-old college student currently majoring in Psychology. Im originally from the Philippines, and since 2007, I’ve lived in Queens, New York.

Outside of work, I am a Sunday school teacher and a youth leader at my local church. I work closely with children ages 3-10 and youths, ages 13-25. I engage kids with activities such as doing arts and crafts, teaching them good moral principles, team building, and providing assistance with schoolwork like assignments.

My experience with babysitting started at the age of 18, I would often come to my mothers workplace to assist with her babysitting job, taking care of 2 kids ages 3 and 5. As for personal nannying experience, I worked for a family of 3 for almost 3 years taking care of their 4-year old child doing pick ups after school, taking her to parks, museums, the library, and other locations in the UWS. I also did bathing, laundry, light cooking, and little housekeeping.

Since then, I have developed a strong passion for kids. When I became a Sunday school teacher,I developed an even deeper relation to them. I love working and interacting with kids. I love being part of their growth and development, whether it be on a physical, mental, or emotional level. Likewise, working with children impacts my life as well in a very deep and personal way.

My character as a person is that I am a very organized person, I like planning and preparing things in advance. I work quickly and efficiently, moving through tasks as quickly as I can. When it comes to playing with kids, I can also level and go along with the same energy whenever I interact with them.

I love kids and I will always love working with them!
