Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have actively engaged with young learners, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages personal and educational growth. As a tutor with Los Angeles Conservation Corps as an after-school program leader, I have effectively supported students in various subjects, tailoring my approach to suit each student’s unique learning style and needs. My experience as a babysitter has allowed me to establish strong connections with children and their families, earning their trust through responsible and caring actions.

In addition to tutoring and babysitting, I have been actively involved in mentorship programs that focus on empowering young individuals to achieve their potential, including Boys and Girls Club of Houston as well as one that I helped to establish The Jeremy Maxson Foundation Junior Advisory Board. Through these experiences, I have honed my ability to be a positive role model and a patient listener, understanding the importance of providing guidance while encouraging independence and self-confidence.

My communication and interpersonal skills have proven instrumental in building meaningful relationships with both the children and their parents or guardians. I am adept at addressing concerns, maintaining open lines of communication, and adapting to the evolving needs of the children I work with.

Working with kids has not only been a gratifying experience, but it has also cultivated my ability to problem-solve and think creatively to keep the learning environment engaging and enjoyable. I thrive on seeing the progress and achievements of the young individuals I work with, and I am dedicated to providing them with the support and encouragement needed to reach their full potential.
